Recipe: Lactation Bites
Here is a recipe for a healthy snack to keep up energy for the breast feeding mum (and sleep deprived partner)! This took me 10 minutes to make and is so tasty.
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
6 tbsp honey
2 tsp vanilla essence
2/3 cup flaxseed meal
1 cup rolled oats
4 tbsp hemp seeds
2 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
Optional: 4 tbsp chocolate chips
Method:
Mix all of the wet (peanut butter, honey, vanilla essence) ingredients in a bowl
Add all of the dry ingredients and mix until everything is combined. It will be a thick, sticky mixture
Fold in the chocolate chips if using
Roll into bite size balls
Set in the fridge
